Spying in favor of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Kramatorsk district - a man was sentenced to 15 years in prison

Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office proved in court the guilt of a resident of the village of Komyshuvakha in state treason and illegal possession of military ammunition (Part 2 of Article 111, Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The man was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
In November 2024, an employee of one of the farms established contact with a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation through the banned social network "Odnoklassniki" in Ukraine. During the correspondence, she recruited him to gather intelligence information for the aggressor state.
In carrying out the assigned tasks, the man observed the movement of military equipment in the Kramatorsk district. In particular, he identified locations for the temporary deployment of personnel of the Defense Forces in Druzhkivka and nearby settlements. He also transmitted coordinates of civilian objects.
During a search of the outbuilding on the premises of the convicted person, two magazines for a Kalashnikov automatic rifle, loaded with 60 cartridges, were found and seized.
He awaited the court's verdict in custody. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
