With regard to 348 prosecutors with disabilities, materials were sent to the CDCC. After verification, a decision will be made on their further posting

The issue of prosecutors with disability status has caused a wide public resonance and was resolved in 9 months. Society has every right to know the position of the Attorney General.

As Ruslan Kravchenko noted, “The legislator did not provide the Attorney General with the authority to unilaterally dismiss prosecutors in cases such as mass acquisition of disability status. Dismissals of prosecutors under these circumstances occur based on the decision of the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors (QDCP),” emphasized the Attorney General.

Currently, there are 484 prosecutors with disabilities remaining in the prosecutor's office: 41 individuals have submitted applications for voluntary dismissal. These have been granted.

“Today I made a decision, within my powers, that all prosecutors with disabilities will be referred to the QDCP for consideration. Except for those who have the status of: childhood disabilities, individuals who have suffered irreparable health losses, have oncological diseases, or are war veterans. There are 136 such individuals in the prosecutor's office,” he added.

Another 348 prosecutors will await the decision of the disciplinary commission.

“I understand that among them there may be individuals whose status will be confirmed as a result of the review. I am convinced that established facts of dishonesty should not put a “cross” on the authority of other prosecutors with confirmed disability status who continue to diligently perform their work. Restoring trust is a path that everyone must take. Without exceptions and manipulations,” emphasized Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko.
