They created a fake page of the commander of the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces with the call sign "Magyar" and collected money - two young men were notified of suspicion of fraud

Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Sviatoshyn District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv, two residents of Odesa, aged 17 and 20, have been charged with fraud.

It has been established that the suspects created a fake page on the social network "TikTok," through which they collected donations supposedly for the military in the name of the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In reality, the money they received was spent on their own needs. It is preliminarily known that over the course of nearly six months, the boys collected at least 1 million hryvnias through the fake page.

The actions of the suspects have been qualified under part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, specifically as fraud committed by a group of persons in conspiracy, through illegal operations using electronic computing technology. 

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Sviatoshyn Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, with operational support from the Cyber Police Department of Kyiv of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
