The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv granted the prosecutor's motion, suspended the suspect, the deputy head of the NABU detective unit, from his position due to existing corruption risks, and chose a preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to 2.9 million UAH.

During the investigation, it was established that the NABU employee illegally enriched himself and spent the specified funds on the purchase of real estate through proxy individuals. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

The sources of the funds are being established.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
