Will judge three inhabitants of the Russian Federation smoked by Ukrzaliznytsia on the request of special services
05.08.2025
Prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court regarding three local residents for committing acts of sabotage (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It has been established that at the beginning of 2025, one of the individuals contacted an employee of the Russian special services via messenger. The agent offered the Odesa resident money for setting fire to railway facilities to destabilize train movement in the city and region. The executor agreed and involved two more accomplices.
In carrying out the enemy's tasks, they set fire to three relay cabinets on the stretch between the stations "Odesa-Skhidna" and "Odesa-Sortuvальна." The criminals acted according to a clear scheme: they arrived at the facilities, doused them with flammable liquids, set them on fire, and recorded videos for reporting to the client. The reward for the acts was paid in cryptocurrency.
The saboteurs turned out to be two men aged 39 and 36, and a 30-year-old woman, who are currently in custody.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
