Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a local resident has been notified of suspicion for organizing a contract killing (Part 3 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 15, subparagraphs 6, 11 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspect, acting out of personal revenge due to a long-standing property conflict and a debt of 40 thousand US dollars, ordered the murder of an acquaintance.

He purchased a firearm, gathered information about the victim's daily routine and the location of surveillance cameras, after which he handed over a thousand dollars as an advance to the "executor."

In September, law enforcement received operational information about the preparation of the crime and staged the victim's murder, providing the contractor with "evidential" photographs.

The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

During searches, traumatic weapons, ammunition, a mobile phone, binoculars, a balaclava, and other material evidence were seized.

Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region with operational support from the Main Directorate of the National Police of the region.
