Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a group of individuals has been exposed for organizing a supply channel for biological protection products manufactured in Ukraine to the food supply facilities of the aggressor state.
It has been established that among the suspects are a director, two co-owners, an accountant, and sales managers from two companies.
They established systematic supplies of products to controlled enterprises in the Russian Federation, which serve agricultural holdings, educational institutions, and strategic and critical infrastructure facilities of the aggressor state.
Supplies were carried out through a network of affiliated companies in Europe and Asia.
Seven individuals have been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Their actions have been qualified under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
During the course of 37 authorized searches in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions, accounting and other documentation, seals of legal entities registered in the Russian Federation, access keys to Russian banks, computer equipment, mobile phones, bank cards, and cash in various currencies totaling approximately 9 million UAH were seized.
Currently, preventive measures in the form of detention without setting bail have been chosen for the suspects.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by the SBU investigators in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
