A resident of Vinnytsia received a task from an employee of the Russian special services via the Telegram messenger to carry out a terrorist act near the administrative building of one of the law enforcement agencies in the city center.
Acting on the instructions of her Russian curator, she arrived in Pavlohrad, where she retrieved an improvised explosive device from a specially equipped hideout.
Later, the woman moved to Dnipro, rented an apartment, and began preparations for the terrorist act. She conducted photo and video documentation of administrative facilities, including law enforcement buildings, and transmitted this material to representatives of the hostile special services.
The perpetrator hid the explosives in the yard of the apartment building where she temporarily resided. She planned to hand over the device to another agent, who was to plant and activate it.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of law enforcement, the terrorist act was prevented — the explosives were seized, and the woman was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
She has currently been notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 14 and Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At the prosecutor's request, the court chose a preventive measure — detention without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
