In Kyiv, the consequences of another Russian attack on the capital are recorded

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the deaths of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Around 2:00 AM on October 26, the capital was attacked by strike drones.

As of the morning, three people are known to have died in the Desnyanskyi district, including a 19-year-old girl. A total of 29 people were injured, including seven minors. Three children have been hospitalized: a 15-year-old boy has multiple burns, a 9-year-old girl has lacerations, and a 13-year-old has multiple shrapnel wounds. Four children are experiencing acute stress reactions.

Two multi-story buildings in the Desnyanskyi district have been damaged, with fire engulfing apartments from the 1st to the 7th floor in one of them. In the Obolonskyi district, windows were blown out in a building due to the shockwave, and in the Darnytskyi district, a fence and a car were damaged.

The rescue operation in the Desnyanskyi district is ongoing, and final data regarding the injured is being clarified.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
