An employee of a security company was exposed in Kyiv, who collected information for the Russian Federation about strikes, anti-aircraft missiles and military facilities

Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, an employee of a capital security company has been exposed for passing information about the consequences of shelling in Kyiv to representatives of the Russian special services, particularly regarding military facilities and critical infrastructure.

It has been established that a citizen of Ukraine, holding pro-Russian views and working for one of the well-known security companies in the capital, was carrying out tasks for the Russian special services. He provided the enemy with data on the consequences of strikes on military facilities and critical infrastructure, the locations of air defense units, concentrations of military equipment, and locations related to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, on his page in the social network "VKontakte," the man publicly called for actions aimed at changing the borders of Ukraine, denied the fact of armed aggression by Russia, and justified the temporary occupation of part of our state's territory.

In November 2025, he was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111, Part 2 of Article 110, and Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a preventive measure was chosen - detention without setting the amount of bail.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, with operational support from SBU employees in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
