Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, three employees of a metallurgical enterprise in Kryvyi Rih have been notified of suspicion for violating safety rules during work with increased danger, which resulted in a person's death (part 2 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that one of the workshop managers did not ensure proper working conditions, in particular, sufficient visibility of the work area from the control point. The senior worker allowed the operator to turn on the equipment without ensuring that it did not pose a threat to people.

As a result of their violation of safety rules, an employee of the enterprise, while performing metal melting work, suffered severe burns. The man died in the hospital.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
