On the morning of November 17, in one of the districts of Kryvyi Rih, during a verbal conflict, a 20-year-old local resident stabbed a minor acquaintance in the area of the heart. The teenager died on the spot from the inflicted wound.

Currently, the suspect has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The issue of notifying him of suspicion for intentional murder (part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being resolved.

All circumstances of the crime are being established. The progress of the pre-trial investigation is under the control of the leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
