Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern region, a deputy head of the territorial center for recruitment and social support of the RTC and SP of Kharkiv has been notified of suspicion, who holds the military rank of "major".

According to the investigation, the official, acting intentionally and unlawfully, used a personal digital key to unauthorizedly make changes to the automated system "Oberih".

He unjustifiably altered the data of conscripts, in particular, registering individuals without their actual arrival and unlawfully removing from the search those who did not actually appear at the TCK and SP.

The investigation has established that he committed such actions concerning 29 conscripts.

Thus, through his intentional and unlawful actions, the official committed a criminal offense as stipulated in part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – unauthorized alteration of information processed in an automated system, committed by a group of individuals who have access to it and in collusion.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and with the assistance of the Kharkiv Regional TCK and SP.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
