Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the fact of a war crime that resulted in the deaths of people (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the morning of October 8, 2025, Russian military forces attacked a civilian vehicle in Kherson, which was carrying people.

As a result of the attack, two civilians were killed — a 62-year-old woman and a man approximately 65 years old.

In addition, a 55-year-old woman was injured and was taken to the hospital with bodily injuries.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, continue to document the consequences of war crimes committed by Russian military forces.
