Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment has been sent to court against 10 accomplices for the illegal production, acquisition, storage for the purpose of sale, and illegal sale of narcotic substances, committed as part of an organized group (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).  

Recall that they were exposed in October 2025.

According to the investigation, in March 2023, a resident of Zaporizhzhia created an organized group, involving nine accomplices. The organizer controlled the supply channels and distributed the profits from drug sales. The others were engaged in planting narcotic plants, harvesting, manufacturing, packaging, transporting, and selling drugs.

To grow cannabis, they rented a plot of land in a gardening association, and for packaging and other purposes – premises in one of the city districts. 

As a result of 30 searches, 16 kg of narcotic substances, over 50 zip bags with cannabis, 7 kg of hemp branches with "buds," bushes of narcotic plants, rough notes, over 350,000 UAH in various currencies, bank cards, 29 mobile phones, and other evidence of illegal activities were seized.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region with operational support from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
