Prosecutors in court proved that the crime occurred in the summer of 2024 at the residence of the accused, who invited a 13-year-old child to his home.   Taking advantage of her helpless state due to her age, the man committed sexual acts against her (Part 4 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

By the verdict of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Zaporizhzhia, the accused was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. The perpetrator is currently in custody. After the verdict takes legal effect, information about the convicted person will be entered into the Unified Register of Persons Convicted of Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Sexual Integrity.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by juvenile investigators from Police Department No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Police.
