The strikes of the Russian Federation in Kharkiv, Odesa, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk are another proof of cynical violation of international humanitarian law

Kharkiv Region: one woman killed and 16 injured

On October 1, around 19:05, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the city of Balakliia. Preliminary reports indicate it was an "Iskander-M" missile that hit the yard of a multi-apartment building.

As a result of the attack, an 88-year-old woman was killed, and 16 people were injured, including a 4-year-old girl. A café, pharmacy, shops, an administrative building, a bank branch, and vehicles were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Izium District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war resulting in death.

Odesa Region: massive drone attack

On the night of October 2, the enemy attacked Odesa with strike drones. Transport infrastructure facilities and a private house were damaged. A 32-year-old man was injured and hospitalized.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation under part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Prosecutors, police, and the Security Service of Ukraine are on-site documenting the consequences of the crime.

Kyiv Region: civilian injured

In the Bucha district, during another enemy attack, a 50-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds. He has been hospitalized, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

Dnipro Region: drone and artillery strikes

On the night of October 2, Russian military forces shelled the territory of the Pokrovsk community in the Synelnykove district using UAVs. A private house and vehicles were damaged.

The Nikopol district was under artillery fire and attacks from FPV drones.

Every crime committed by Russia against the civilian population is being meticulously documented. The collected evidence will serve as the basis for the inevitable accountability of the military-political leadership of the aggressor state.
