Under the procedural guidance of the Okhtyrka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on November 3, 2025, at approximately 01:30, the enemy attacked the private sector in the city of Trostianets, Okhtyrka district, with three drones.

A 52-year-old man died in his own home. His house was virtually destroyed, and a cargo truck was also damaged.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators from the Okhtyrka District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region.
