In Odessa exposed an agent network of the Russian Federation, which corrected strikes on the Ukrainian military

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, four residents of the Odesa district have been exposed for transmitting intelligence data about Ukrainian military personnel and critical infrastructure facilities to the enemy.

They have been notified of suspicion of treason and unauthorized dissemination of information regarding the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 111, Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, a guard at a local sports school established contact with a representative of the Russian special services and agreed to collect and transmit information about the movements and locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, routes for transporting weapons, locations of critical infrastructure facilities, as well as the consequences of enemy shelling through covert channels.

To carry out these tasks, the man involved his acquaintances in the agency activities – a sports section coach, a taxi driver, and his wife – a saleswoman at a local store.

From late November 2024 to June 2025, the suspects systematically transmitted intelligence information to the occupiers, including details about the equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian military, as well as their movement routes. To do this, they personally monitored the military and also received information from acquaintances during casual conversations.

Currently, all suspects are in custody without the right to bail at the request of the prosecutor's office.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region with operational support from the military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
