From the Russian shelling of Kherson region, a man was killed, seven more inhabitants of the region were injured

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of the Kherson region, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on September 16, 2025, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region using artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles.

As of 5:00 PM, one person is known to have died and seven others were injured.

Thus, as a result of the shelling of Kherson, which occurred around 4:15 PM, a man was killed.

Throughout the day, the Russian army shelled the regional center, Komyshany, and Bilozirka with artillery. In total, six civilians were affected in these settlements.

Another civilian woman was injured as a result of explosives being dropped from a drone in Oleksandrivka.

Private and multi-apartment buildings, outbuildings, administrative premises, and vehicles were also damaged.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to document the consequences of the shelling and the war crimes committed by the armed formations of the aggressor state.
