Under the procedural guidance of the Derhachi District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

According to the investigation, on October 8 at approximately 10:00, Russian troops attacked the city of Derhachi. 

Houses were damaged. A 72-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital for medical assistance.

In addition, an electric train was damaged, which continued its journey to Kharkiv after the attack. There were no casualties. 

According to preliminary data, the occupiers used a multiple launch rocket system "Smerch" with cluster munitions against the city.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian military.
