Officials of one of the LLCs decided to misuse the funds from a state grant, created fictitious documents for the planting and arrangement of a new orchard, and sent them to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy for consideration.

As a result, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy approved the allocation of a grant for the arrangement of the orchard in the amount of 8.156 million UAH and informed the authorized bank of this decision for further disbursement of funds.

Later, during the preparation of the report on the use of funds by the company, the officials provided the authorized bank with knowingly false documents. In them, they presented old plantings as new.

At the same time, the chief economist of the department of the Main Directorate for Kyiv and Kyiv region of JSC "Oschadbank" monitored the execution of the order for the grant for the creation of the orchard and, without verifying the actual state of the farm and the compliance of the provided documents, indicated inaccurate information in the report regarding the fulfillment of the conditions of the state grant for 3.8 million UAH. Currently, the established amount of damages is 3.8 million UAH, which the officials of the company disposed of at their own discretion, rather than for the intended purpose.

Prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have notified the director of the LLC of suspicion under Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a bank employee under Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region with operational support from the Cyber Police Department of the National Police.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
