Under the public prosecution of the prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a resident of Kostiantynivka guilty of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

In February 2025, through a local Telegram channel, the woman contacted a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation and, on her own initiative, began providing him with intelligence data. For her criminal activities, she used a gadget provided by an educational institution for her child's distance learning.

The convicted woman marked locations of military equipment concentration on an electronic map. She also reported sounds of certain types of weaponry. In addition, she informed about the location of the Defense Forces headquarters in the settlement. During a dialogue with the enemy's special service employee, the local resident did not hide her hopes that the data she provided would be useful to the aggressor state for delivering fire strikes.

It is worth noting that she was exposed in May 2025. She awaited the court's verdict in custody. 

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
