Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 23-year-old woman has been notified of suspicion for treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that in the territory of the Izium district, a local resident, who was officially unemployed, knowingly assisted the aggressor state in conducting military operations against Ukraine.

In May 2025, she contacted a representative of the Russian Federation via the messenger "Telegram." To fulfill his tasks, the woman collected and transmitted information to the enemy about the locations and movement routes of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the positioning of Ukrainian military equipment.

The agent paid special attention to documenting the consequences of missile strikes: she provided her interlocutor with information about the scale of destruction and the locations of "hits."

The data obtained could be used by the enemy to adjust fire and plan further attacks in the area.

Law enforcement agencies uncovered the woman. The court granted the prosecution's request: the suspect has been taken into custody without the possibility of bail. 

The pre-trial investigation and operational support are conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
