Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Brovary District Prosecutor's Office, a deputy of one of the village councils in Kyiv region has been notified of suspicion for illegal enrichment (Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspect acquired unjustified assets totaling over 14 million hryvnias between 2020 and 2024. According to the conclusion of the NACP, the income and expenses of the official and his family members do not correspond to the value of the property they acquired during this period.

As part of the pre-trial investigation, a search was conducted at the official's residence, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Brovary District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
