Ukrenergo worker was exposed to the Russian Federation about the critical infrastructure. He has been informed of suspicion of treason

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General, an employee of NEC "Ukrenergo" has been detained for passing information about a critically important energy infrastructure facility in Ukraine to a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

Through a messenger, he provided official information, including data on the location of a hidden secure center.

This information could be used by the enemy to carry out missile and drone strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.

His actions have been classified under part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is currently in custody.

The investigation and operational support are being carried out by SBU employees.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
