Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, four men have been notified of suspicion for the illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, and sale of narcotic substances by an organized group (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They are in custody. 

It has been established that in August 2025, the couple organized the production and distribution of cannabis. They grew hemp and produced the drug on their own drug farm at their residence, in one of the villages of the Kramatorsk district. 

To sell the drugs, the owners involved two accomplices from Sloviansk, who sought clients among drug-dependent city residents. 

For each sale, the group members received between 3,500 and 9,000 UAH. The total turnover from illegal activities exceeded 1 million UAH.

During searches at the residences of the four accomplices and in the organizer's vehicle, containers with a substance resembling cannabis, wraps with hemp seeds and crushed plant mixture, as well as scales, phones, bank cards, and cash were seized.

The pre-trial investigation and operational support are conducted by the Investigative Unit and the Organized Crime Unit of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 9 to 12 years with confiscation of property.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
