The native of the Kyiv region, who passed the enemy data on the objects of critical infrastructure

Prosecutors of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office have reported suspicion against a 40-year-old native of Bila Tserkva for treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in July 2025, the man was recruited by a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation via the messenger "Telegram." For money, he agreed to provide the coordinates of the locations of radar stations and military facilities in central and western Ukraine.

The suspect regularly sent the recruiter the results of his "intelligence operations" in the form of markers on "Google Maps." He also spread messages with pro-Russian rhetoric in "Telegram" channels aimed at supporting the aggression of the Russian Federation.

Law enforcement officers detained the man. At the prosecutor's request, he was placed in custody without alternative bail. An arrest of his property has also been initiated.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region under the procedural guidance of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
