Verdict: in Dnipro, a man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for collaborating with the Russian Federation

A resident of Dnipro has been convicted for collaborating with the Russian special services. Prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General and the Western District Prosecutor's Office of Dnipro proved his guilt in state treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It was established that in August 2024, the convicted individual established contact with a representative of the Russian special services and agreed to cooperate.

Over the course of a month, following the instructions of his "curator," he transmitted photo and video materials, as well as the coordinates of the locations of military units and defense industry enterprises in the territory of Dnipro and the region.

In addition, during their communication, he informed the Russian representative about the consequences of enemy shelling and the results of the work of air defense units.

The man was detained in October 2024. The court imposed a sentence of 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all his property. He will remain in custody until the verdict takes legal effect.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
