Prosecutors continue to prove in courts the guilt of traitors and collaborators who collaborated with the aggressor country or fought against Ukraine. Over the past week, some cases have concluded with sentences, while others have been sent to court.

Luhansk Region

Under the public prosecution of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 50-year-old resident of the city of Sorokyne has been sentenced to life imprisonment for participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and treason (Part 1 of Article 258-3, Part 1, 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sentence includes life imprisonment and confiscation of property.

The investigation established that the convicted individual joined the "4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the LPR" in 2015 and participated in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.

Kherson Region

Under the public prosecution of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office:

• An ex-penitentiary has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He has been stripped of his special rank and the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies for 3 years.

• With the support of public prosecutors from Mykolaiv region, a resident of Kherson has been found guilty of collaborationist activities (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sentence is 8 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and a ban on holding public office for 15 years. The sentence was passed in absentia.

• A "deputy of the regional council of Kherson region" will stand trial for collaboration and justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation (Part 6 of Article 111-1, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces 10–12 years of imprisonment and restrictions on positions for 10–15 years.

The pre-trial investigations were conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region, as well as the State Bureau of Investigation in Melitopol.

Zhytomyr Region

Prosecutors from the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to court against a 41-year-old resident for treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He transmitted data about the aircraft and UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Donetsk Region

The Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office proved in court the guilt of a 23-year-old resident of Kostiantynivka in treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. The accused transmitted the coordinates of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units to representatives of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

Sumy Region

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent an indictment to court against a 44-year-old man for treason under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He transmitted data about the location of Ukrainian troops while disguising himself as a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Pre-trial investigations in the regions were conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.
