Identification and prosecution of traitors, collaborators and participants of terrorist organizations - daily work of prosecutors
11.09.2025
On the International Day of Counter-Terrorism, prosecutors in Donetsk region brought criminal charges against 77 individuals. Among them are suspects of treason, encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, collaboration activities, information support and assistance to the aggressor state, war crimes, justifying armed aggression by the Russian Federation, and participation in terrorist organizations.
Among those who betrayed the country are officials of the occupation administrations, education workers, and law enforcement officers. Below are the details of the cases and the work of the prosecution.
Adjusters of Enemy Fire
Law enforcement uncovered four participants of an informant network: residents of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Dnipro were transmitting data about the locations of Ukrainian military forces to a curator from the FSB of the Russian Federation via "Telegram." Another citizen was gathering intelligence on Kramatorsk for another recruiter. All were detained at their place of residence.
Members of Armed Formations
Four citizens of Ukraine joined the ranks of the occupation forces and fought in Donetsk region against their own state.
Fake Leader of the "DPR" and Port Top Manager
The leader of the so-called DPR organized the illegal seizure of metal from the seaport of Mariupol amounting to nearly 740 million hryvnias. The first deputy director of the port facilitated the export of metal for the needs of the Russian army.
Officials of the Occupation Administrations
Law enforcement also informed officials of their suspicion, including the former acting Minister of Revenues and Duties, who collected taxes from entrepreneurs. The collected funds were directed to finance the war against Ukraine. Among the suspects are deputies of the "republic," two of whom still hold valid mandates in Ukraine. The organizers of illegal elections, heads and deputy heads of city and village administrations, and employees of departments, services, and departments of the occupation "authorities" are also under investigation.
Pseudo-Justice and Law Enforcement
The circle of exposed traitors includes: a "judge" of the occupation "Horyansk Interdistrict Court of Makiyivka DPR," who issues fake verdicts according to Russian laws, as well as representatives of the occupation police, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, and the colony in Mariupol. They illegally detain people and force them to serve illegal sentences.
Propagandist Media Workers
Among the exposed collaborators is the head of the press center of the "General Prosecutor's Office of the DPR," the deputy general director of the so-called republican media holding, and several correspondents who wage an information war against Ukraine: they misinform the population and spread fake news. A priest has also been exposed, who in his interview with a Russian TV channel approved and justified the crimes of the occupiers.
Educators
Today, in Khmelnytskyi, a former head of the journalism department at Mariupol State University, a candidate of philological sciences, was detained: the educator was suspected of collaborating with the occupiers. In addition to him, ten other individuals are accused of implementing Russian educational standards in schools and universities in Mariupol, Khartsyzk, Yenakiieve, Volnovakha, and Mykolske districts.
The actions of the individuals have been qualified under Articles 110, 111, 111-1, 111-2, 258-3, 436-2, 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
