According to the investigation, on the night of September 23, 2025, the Russian army struck Zaporizhzhia with at least 6 aerial bombs.

One of the shells hit a private house, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old man.  

Hits were also recorded on the territory of two enterprises and in the private sector of one of the city's districts.

Information regarding the victims is being clarified.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
