Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the morning of September 26, 2025, Russian military forces carried out an artillery shelling of Kherson.

As a result of the attack, a woman who was on the street was killed.

An apartment building and cars were damaged.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian military.
