Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

According to the investigation, on the morning of October 1, 2025, Russian military forces carried out an artillery shelling of Kherson.

As a result of the attack, a man who was on the street was killed.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian military.
