Under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutors of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations have been initiated into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the night of October 1, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a combined attack on Kharkiv and its suburbs, using guided aerial bombs and ballistic missiles. A number of facilities were damaged.

In the Saltivskyi district, a residential building was destroyed, and over 10 households were damaged. More than 35 garage boxes and vehicles were also damaged. Fires broke out as a result of the attacks.

In the Kyiv district, a strike was delivered on a shopping center, causing pavilions to catch fire.

Eight people were injured in the city. A woman and four men, including a police officer, sustained injuries. Three more women experienced acute stress reactions. 

In the village of Tsyrkuny, private households were damaged, but there were no casualties.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian military.
