According to the investigation, on January 29, 2026, at approximately 00:30, the Russians launched drone strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Vilyansk.

As of 10:00 on January 29, three fatalities have been reported: a 62-year-old man and women aged 26 and 50. Three more people have been injured.

Private residential houses have been damaged, one has been destroyed.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated in a criminal proceeding regarding the commission of a war crime (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
