On September 4, 2025, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office personally participated in a court hearing regarding the consideration of a motion for the selection of a preventive measure for a suspect in sexual violence against her minor child, as well as the production and distribution of child pornography.

The woman's actions were qualified under Part 4 of Article 153 and Part 3 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court fully supported the position of the head of the regional prosecutor's office, who insisted on the application of the strictest preventive measure given the nature and motives of the crime - detention without bail for a period of 60 days.

According to the investigation, the suspect committed illegal actions against her 2-year-old daughter, taking advantage of her helpless state and trust, recorded her actions on a mobile phone, and subsequently distributed the videos for monetary reward.

The procedural leadership of the pre-trial investigation is carried out by a group of prosecutors headed by the head of the regional prosecutor's office.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
