An ex-policewoman from Luhansk region was convicted of treason

Prosecutors of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office proved in court the guilt of a local police officer in state treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

In the spring of 2022, the woman, being an inspector of one of the district police departments of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region, did not follow the order of her superior regarding evacuation and remained in the occupied territory.

In the summer of that year, she took an oath of allegiance to the enemy and began serving in the illegally established "Troitsky District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR".

The convicted individual serves under the "laws" of the aggressor state, follows orders from higher authorities, participates in events organized by the occupying authorities, and supports aggression against Ukraine.

We remind you that in the winter of 2024, she was notified of suspicion.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigations located in Kramatorsk.
