The court granted the lawsuit of the Central District Prosecutor's Office of Dnipro in the interests of the state regarding the cessation of illegal construction within the central historical area of the city. 

This concerns a land plot of over 0.26 hectares, transferred to the company for the construction of an elite residential complex with commercial premises and parking. 

Prosecutors established that the developer did not obtain the necessary permits, including a construction permit, and also did not coordinate the project documentation with the heritage protection authorities.

The Ministry of Culture denied the company approval three times due to violations of the requirements for preserving the architectural appearance of the historical buildings. Despite this, construction work on the land plot continued. 

Since the state architectural and construction control authority did not take appropriate measures, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit in court.

The court agreed with the prosecutor's arguments and terminated the developer's right to carry out preparatory works. After the court's decision comes into legal force, the prosecutor's office will take measures for its actual enforcement.
