The Economic Court of the Odesa Region granted the lawsuit of the Deputy Head of the Odesa Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Southern Region and declared the contract invalid, which was concluded to the detriment of the state's interests, resulting in a loss of budget revenues.

It was established that in January 2025, a private enterprise and the Concern "Viyisktorgservis" entered into a service agreement, which effectively concealed the lease of warehouse premises with an area of 1043.5 sq. m, which are under the management of the Ministry of Defense. The market value of the premises is 2.9 million UAH.

Prosecutors proved that the transaction was concluded in violation of current legislation - without the mandatory permitting procedures and approvals. According to established requirements, the lease of real estate owned by the Ministry of Defense is only possible on a competitive basis, with an assessment of the property and determination of the appropriate amount of rent. Failure to comply with these conditions led to budget losses.

By the court's decision, the private company is obliged to vacate the premises, which will ensure the return of the real estate object to state ownership in the person of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
