The Commercial Court of Lviv Region granted the claim of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Western region and retrieved from illegal possession a warehouse premises of over 1200 sq. m in the village of Malehiv near Lviv. The value of this property is over 24 million hryvnias.

This property belonged to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, but it was illegally removed from state ownership back in 2003 – without the consent of the defense agency. Over the course of 22 years, the property was resold multiple times, changed owners, and even underwent re-planning. 

Thanks to the principled and persistent work of the prosecutors, the court recognized the acquisition of ownership rights to this property by one of the companies – as a result of electronic auctions – as illegal. Consequently, the real estate must be returned to state ownership.
