By the lawsuit of the District Prosecutor's Office of Chernivtsi, the court declared the storage agreement invalid, under which the entrepreneur used the property of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS) free of charge and ordered him to vacate the premises.

This concerns premises in Chernivtsi with an area of almost 330 sq. m.

Prosecutors proved that in 2017 the entrepreneur entered into an invalid contract with a bankrupt enterprise. Based on this, he used the premises free of charge for eight years: part of it was converted into a production bakery workshop, from which he earned profit, and 100 sq. m was arranged as a residential apartment. He had no permits for such work, as the legal owner and manager of the property is NAAS.

The court agreed with the arguments of the prosecution. After the premises are vacated, NAAS will be able to lease it on a competitive basis.
