The Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, Andrii Kostiк, proved the guilt of a resident of the Ladyzhyn community in committing sexual violence (Part 4 of Article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) in court.

The man, being alone with his minor niece at his place of residence, for the purpose of satisfying his own sexual desire, took advantage of the helpless state of the young girl and committed sexual violence against her. This caused psychological trauma to the child.

Taking into account the arguments of the prosecutor, the Ladyzhyn City Court of the Vinnytsia region sentenced the man to 6 years of imprisonment.

Currently, the verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
