At the instruction of the enemy, he filmed objects of critical infrastructure - Khmelnytsky is suspected of treason

Under the procedural guidance of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 31-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi has been notified of suspicion for treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, this man established contact this year with a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation via Telegram. For a reward, he agreed to conduct photo and video surveillance of military facilities, administrative buildings of law enforcement agencies, and state authorities of Ukraine located in the Khmelnytskyi region.

On September 20, he was detained by law enforcement officers while filming a critical infrastructure facility.

A preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail has been chosen for him.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region with operational support from the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
