On the night of July 19, the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Odesa with strike drones. Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy used more than 20 UAVs.

As a result of the attack, one woman was killed, and six local residents sustained injuries of varying severity, and they are receiving medical assistance. Information regarding other possible victims is being clarified.

At least eight residential buildings were damaged, with nearly ten apartments completely destroyed in one of them. Damage was also inflicted on a medical laboratory, shops, a beauty salon, food establishments, and residents' vehicles. 

An assessment is ongoing, and a complete list of destruction and damages is being established. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the armed aggression by the Russian Federation at the scene.

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
