According to the investigation, on August 5, 2025, around 10:00, the occupiers launched a missile strike on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Sumy community.

As a result of the enemy attack, 2 employees of the enterprise were killed, and 3 staff members were injured.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
