According to the materials of a special pre-trial investigation, it has been established that in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the head of the illegally created "Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Zaporizhzhia Region," together with the leader, the deputy head, and the deputy head of one of the departments, organized the forced deportation of three residents of the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The women were initially detained without justification and then handed so-called "notifications" prohibiting their entry into the "territory" of the Russian Federation. According to these documents, they were subjected to entry restrictions for over 20 years.
After that, the victims were transported to a border checkpoint on the border between Russia and one of the post-Soviet republics. There, under physical coercion and psychological pressure, they were ordered to cross the border on foot.
At the time of the investigation, the women managed to return to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
Prosecutors of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment to the court against four "officials" - citizens of the Russian Federation for violating the laws and customs of war, committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
