Under the public prosecution of the Sumy region prosecutors, a resident of Shostka has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with property confiscation for treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors proved in court that in February 2024, the convicted individual agreed to cooperate with an FSB officer of Russia for ideological reasons.

Using an anonymous chat in one of the messengers, she collected and transmitted information about defense industry enterprises in the Sumy region to her curator.

It is worth noting that law enforcement arrested the woman in June 2024. Since then, she has been in custody.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
