Under the public prosecution of the prosecutors of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, a former employee of the law enforcement agency from the city of Berdiansk has been found guilty of treason and collaborationist activities (Part 2 of Article 111, Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She has been sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property and stripped of the rank of police major. For the same period, she is prohibited from holding positions in state authorities and law enforcement agencies.

The prosecutors proved in court that in the spring of 2022, after the full-scale invasion, the convicted individual accepted an offer from the enemy and took the position of investigator in the "Berdiansk Department of Internal Affairs of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zaporizhzhia Region".

In the interests of the aggressor state, she conducted illegal searches, interrogated, and detained pro-Ukrainian citizens.

The special pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigations in the city of Melitopol.
