Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, another FSB agent has been exposed and detained within the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. He turned out to be the head of the medical unit of one of the combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was recruited by the enemy.

According to the investigation, while at the facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the serviceman was conducting covert intelligence activities in favor of the aggressor state. In particular, he marked the locations of military facilities on Google Maps and transmitted this data to the FSB.

In exchange for cooperation, the occupiers offered the agent money and promised to carry out his "evacuation" to relatives in Russia.

During searches, a smartphone and a laptop were seized from the suspect, from which he coordinated his actions with the FSB curator.

He has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – treason committed in conditions of martial law.

He is in custody, without the right to bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Comprehensive measures were conducted with the participation of the Main Investigative Department and the Military Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
